--

Huang-po Urged Letting Go of Conceptual Thinking

Zen Master Huang-po, from ninth century China, taught that all living beings are Buddha. He was adamant that our mind is Buddha. We can’t do anything to attain something we already possess. We let go and let Buddha Mind.

To quiet our mind, clear conceptual thinking, and awaken to our true nature, as described by Huang-po, we diligently practice zazen.

In, one; out, two; in, three; out, four…up to: in, nine; out, ten; and over and over again.
