Celebrating women at Accurx
For International Women’s Day, Sally Goble interviewed seven women from across the Accurx team
As the Accurx team grows, we’re excited to build a more diverse workforce that reflects patients and healthcare professionals across the NHS (our users!).
As of the end of 2021, an internal survey showed that 55% of our team said they identify as women, non-binary or genderqueer. In the last year, we’ve hired 96 new members of staff and 56 of these people identify as women.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, I interviewed some of the brilliant women at our company, asking them about their role, who inspires them and what advice they’d give their younger selves.

What do you do at Accurx?
I look after the office and the people inside it, making sure that things run smoothly on a daily basis, and that our team is comfortable and have everything they need.
What’s unique about working at Accurx?
There are so many unique things, from internal and external events like last week’s Venetian Carnival and all the socials of Friday Society.
