I am a UX researcher and designer interested in beautiful, effective design. Had I been asked way back in Kindergarten what I wanted to be when I grew up, I certainly wouldn't have been able to say "User Experience Designer." If I remember correctly, I had actually responded "figure skater or builder, like my dad" (my biological father was a civil engineer). Not that I couldn't still be a figure skater, BUUUT I can't even stay balanced on a bike so… there's that. I *can* build upon research, conventions, and design flows and layouts that make sense. I've so much to learn, and I can't wait to get started!
