Hello, ArchLoot community,

With the purpose of fostering trusted communication on our project, we are going to release project recaps periodically. It will include exciting news, events, development logs, and more.

Following the [first volume], this second volume hereby covers the major progress that took place from June 15th to August 31st in 2022, and the recent updates from our team.

TL;DR version

ArchLoot has finished the successful second phases of both mystery box sales on the Binance NFT platform and the Closed Beta Test, with positive outcomes of user growth. We are on the right track to growing a UGC robust community and accumulating industrial influences through events.

I. Project Milestones

1. Mystery box sales on the Binance NFT platform (August 8, 2022)

Time: August 8th, 2022

Price: 200 BUSD

Limited edition: 1,000 boxes

On August 8th, ArchLoot launched our second wave of 1,000 Mystery Boxes on the Binance NFT platform. After the first wave being an immediate sold out, this time, the public sale went live at 11 AM UTC, and all NFTs were quickly taken.

The collection of NFT boxes features the rarest gadgets in the ArchLoot game, which are epic and legendary body parts for avatar assembling, each dedicated to torsos, upper limbs, lower limbs, and accessories. Holders share early perks and incentives in an unparalleled manner.

300 testers from 3000+ candidates

After the first CBT in May this year, the team has made major improvements on several spectrums, including compatibility, content, and languages. CBT phase 2 has rolled up a vastly more adventurous world.

3. Approaching Open Beta Test and the official launch

Date/time: pending

Progress: bug amendment, text/UI improvement, graphic improvement, feature enhancement, durability and repair potion system finalization

II. Dev/ Game Updates

1. In-game features

The improvements of CBT2 mainly focused on three perspectives: economic sustainability, compatibility, and content enrichment; which aims to make the game more accessible and playable for a wider user base.

One unique design is the durability system, where every NFT, no matter how rare it is, has a fixed length of usage. Unexpected circumstances like a failure in PVE could shorten 5% of the lifespan. There are no other things but repair potions (available in the chest and the marketplace) that can work the magic. The advent of this system showcases the team’s strong will to maintain a healthy economy.

2. Marketplace and dashboard

During the closed beta test, the gamers already saw our official marketplace and dashboard. The team is now finalizing the technical details of both, which will later offer a secure platform for gamers to trade substantial assets such as NFT body parts, chests, and repair potions.

III. Partnerships

Here’s a summary of our partnership announcements from July 15th to August 30th.

July 22 — Fight of the ages

July 27 — Gamic Guild

July 28 — Karmaverse

July 29 Treasureland

August 12- DUX cripto

August 29Djiin Guild

New partners have brought in new energy and excitement, for instance, we hosted an airdrop event with Karmaverse and also held cross-AMA events with the FOTA community during our closed beta test.

AMAs

We have been collaborating with external groups and guilds, including names like Binance NFT and SafePal, to attract gamers and NFT enthusiasts into the community. A great practice would be the live voice AMA hosted in a guild group during the closed beta test, bringing ArchLoot to the most active gamers' attention.

Given the period this report covers, our AMAs have covered around 450k potential audiences.

Community Events

We have been in close touch with our own community exploring new methods of engagement, for example, the Discord carnival serial events.

The carnival phase 1 took place from July 8th to July 24th and phase 2 from August 5th to August 22nd.

Game Lore

ArchLoot has been creating an exciting series of game lore, featuring the initial journey of an adventurer that landed on planet ALT3. As of August 31st, the story has released a trilogy of prologues and 5 volumes of continuing fiction. Here are the latest 3 episodes.
