Hello all you readers of Are You Out There! This month, I’d like to feature our managing editor and creator of the Are You Out There family, Graham D. Cooke.
Graham is an ambitious 62 year old Canadian man, prolific writer and reader, supporter of many and supported by many.
INTERVIEW WITH THE EDITORS
Each of the editors of the family of pubs was interviewed with the same question.
“What is one thing about Graham you admire, respect, or love?”
Kathy K (myself) — There are many things that I admire, respect and love about Graham but to keep it down to one, I’d have to pick his compassion for others. I’ve known Graham through Medium since last year and watched as he continued, without a break, to READ and COMMENT on other writers’ work. In our own small group, he has never hesitated to help one of us out when needed.
B A Little — I can always count on Graham for advice. He sees ways to improve my writing and is always ready to help. He truly reads and comments on articles and often adds his flare. Graham wears many hats, and I am glad he takes the time to mentor, encourage, and push us all to be better writers.
Ginger Cook — Oh gosh, where do I begin? Graham was one of the first people on Medium to truly interact with me and make me feel like I had potential as a writer. He is always encouraging, so helpful, and takes time to truly explain things. He may have missed his calling as a teacher. Ha. I also appreciate his sense of humor and silliness!
GRAHAM’S LISTS
Quite the resourceful writer, Graham makes use of lists to his greatest advantage. He keeps his public lists down to a minimum but likely has a lot of private lists. I suppose we won’t know that unless he decides to tell!

This list is a compilation of every article that Graham read in August. He made it public on Sep 1 and will make his September readings available on Oct. 1 or close to it. Graham reads an impressive amount of articles on Medium each month, not sure about other months, but he read 385 in August! And if you can believe it, his reading count for 2022 so far is 2,925! 5. INFINITY (∞) TRAVELER FUTURISTIC FICTION SATIRE SERIES
18 stories so far! The science fiction series has been brewing in Graham’s mind for a very long time. He finally started writing it on Sep 15 of this year and is putting out one story per day, at least.
Here are a few excerpts from the start of this series Step👣Forward, Please; Keep🕢it🕣 Moving. The premise is time travel to different parts of your own life and how it affects the other parts. Very interesting fictional look at ourselves!

(NOTE: 👀 PRE-SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE PRECISELY …@ 2022-Sep-15, 01:00 GMT-7) 🕐It has been discussed and bantered by many that one could by direct memory transfer or transitions on interdimensional portals directly access the past and events that have transpired therein. However, this has yet to be proven by any one scientist or engineer.
GRAHAM’S PUBLICATIONS
As you can see from Graham’s lists, he is a methodical, conscientious person, dedicated to his own goals. In addition to his lists, he’s created a whole family of publications that he manages. It started with Are You Out There and continued to grow from there.
Since there were so many, Graham consolidated all the links into one pub and called it the AYOT FAMILY pub. Some of them are theme based such as fiction, writing tips, and politics. Some are for generalized writing and others are more specific to a subject such as crime.
