Business Models Inc: 2016 Review
Reflecting on Our Biggest Year of Growth in Australia
Thanks for being part of our biggest year, yet!
In 2016, we:
Helped to design future cities, and explored the role of design in creating innovative regions.
Supported the Commonwealth Government to build their policy design capabilities, and hung out with the team at Virgin for #TheVirginWayColab.
Opened offices in Adelaide and Melbourne!
Guided purpose-driven businesses across Australia through the NDIS.
Invested in Aussie Entrepreneurs, with leading VC funds to find more entrepreneurs and launched our own accelerator … we also celebrated the success of one of our biggest investments.
We worked with one of Australia’s biggest banks to better connect entrepreneurs with capital.

Flux’d, and explored innovation ecosystems.
Wrote a new book and launched it at some massive events, intimate ones, too. Here it is getting born!
Collaborated with our international colleagues all over the world and brought them to Australia to work with you. We made new friends, and begun brewing a bunch of new ideas.
Built innovation bridges between nations.
Helped small businesses create, deliver and capture value.
Designed the future of tourism, and produced a journey of discovery.
Talked about fintech platforms and designing better organisational cultures — we applied this with one of Australia’s leading law firms, too.
We hosted a stage at the Future Assembly, discussed the future of education and hosted a series of masterclasses.
Helped to build social ventures in Adelaide.
Worked with legends of creativity to design the future of the university innovation centres and invested with some cool cats to build something special.
We spoke about the future role of makerspaces, and helped a city to design one.
We racked up some serious flight hours… and drank way too much coffee.
Happy Holidays from Michael, Ben & Suhit.
Let’s design a better 2017!
