Evening falls as you approach a vast spur of rock. Tox’ar points. “That’ll bring us to the peak.”
“It looks unsafe,” you muse, “in armor.”
Polki cackles.
“Lady Luck walks with us,” Naya smiles.
“Hmm.”
You climb and climb. When you pause, panting, you look up to see that Polki is now far ahead. And then you see that a pair of orcs have descended the cliffs on either side…
One throws a net, and Polki is caught!!
You watch, horrified, as the orcs drag away your companion.
“Polki!”
Other orcs now descend, firing arrows that bounce off your armor...
