Shields and Flaming Arrows

You can’t risk running towards Polki. Instead, you raise your shield, as does Tox’ar. Naya, meanwhile, conjures a vast shield made of green fire.
You manage to fire off several arrows, some hitting home, but still aren’t advancing…
“Go, I’ll cover you,” yells the sorceress.
You hesitate, but then see Naya send out a barrage of missiles made of flames, each leaving a smoking trail behind. Soon, you can barely see a thing, and arrows from the orcs stop abruptly.
You charge forward up the rock, leaving Tox’ar to pick off the last of the archers as you scramble forward.
