Ballax proper is directly ahead, and you hurry on, taking in the sight. It’s huge and misshapen, surrounded by many of the stone watchtowers.

It’s almost like a small city, bleak and gray.

Just then, an orc emerges from the central structure, and you stride up, trying to look confident.

“I have an urgent message for Pale-Eyes,” you bark. “Take me to him.”

“Don’t know the way?” snarls the orc suspiciously.

“Well, I…”

You hesitate, momentarily lost for words, then notice another figure looming behind you. Something hits you hard across the back of the head, and you black out…
