You push the door and step outside.
The corridor outside is broad and well lit. Ahead is a grand stone building. Overall, Ballax does not give you the impression of an ogre’s lair. However, it’s filthy, with chaotic damage to stonework. Perhaps this was once a beautiful city, but now…
Suddenly, you hear heavy footsteps. You spin, and see two orcs. A blade comes to your throat.
“Lunch!” snarls one, and the other laughs.
You slowly raise your hands, looking for a way to escape. But when the second orc brings a baton down onto your head, your vision dims…
