A gaseous cloud appears, then transforms into a glowing jar.

“Drink,” grunts the creature.

You think of your kills… but they were evildoers. It was justified, to pursue your family.

Right…?

You take a gulp. A feeling of ice in your throat gives way to fire, and you gasp, scrabbling at your neck as a choking and burning sensation takes hold.

“The jar of judgement sends a warning,” says the creature. “You may pass, but you are marked. This necklace of fire will never leave you.”

Then the key appears in your hand, and you stagger for the cell door.
