This is a ‘choose your own’ fiction story, “drabble edition”. You can check out Chapter 1 of this story, ‘The Burned Village’, or check the previous chapter: ‘Necklace of Torment’ or ‘Judgement has Passed’, both by JF Danskin.
You stagger into the corridor, hardly believing what just happened. Better still — there are no orcs nearby.
You move along the gloomy stone corridor, and soon find a room with weapons and armor. You definitely don’t want more stinking orc armor, but need a blade. You pick up a gleaming shield, and a fine sword — both stolen, no doubt.
Further along, you come to broad stairs, and hesitate. Will Marroz Pale-eyes be at the top of the structure, or the dungeons?
You feel that he’ll prefer to look down from the heights on his subjects…
You start to climb.
