“For now, let’s just say we have similar goals.”

“What’s that supposed to mean? Look, Taryn, I want to be honest with you. This whole thing looks sketchy. You, denying to help me at first, now pulling me out of that merchant situation, offering solutions. I don’t know what’s your angle on this story, but I’ll need more than ‘similar goals.’”

“Similar goals, similar people to hunt, similar motives. You see, I’ve lost people too. And I’ve been around this place long enough to know what’s happening with the invasions.”
