I’ve heard that some people have to replace their consumer wireless networks every year or so, which is amazing as in my case I change them because I want something newer and not because the hardware died.
For a while now I’ve been looking at the single board computers after I began looking into replacing my ageing servers, which aren’t exactly being used to their full capacity but they’re really loud and big which means that I can’t easily move them around if needed.
I wanted to move the /var and /home directories from the MicroSD to a USB flash drive, this because those are the two directories that see much more movement and that could benefit from being moved away from the MicroSD.
