We made it, folks — our four-week happiness project has officially come to a close as we jump into 2018!

Over the course of this project, we faced daily challenges that helped us a see some brighter things. Make gratitude lists, sticky-note storm our coworkers’ desks, take the time to treat ourselves — it’s not our everyday stuff. But each task encouraged us to reflect on and appreciate the simple things in life.

Check out Week 1, Week 2, and Week 3 of the Moncur Happiness Project!

Here’s a peek at our last week of happiness challenges:

Email, text message, iMessage, Animoji, Snapchat, DM, BBM, AIM, MSN — Whatever you still use to get your messages out, take a minute to send a word of appreciation to someone, or many someones, who shared some kindness with you. Showing your gratitude is a win-win for all parties involved.

Adding to our overabundance of coffee, we adore our tea. This challenge was the perfect opportunity to steep our tea not only to warm up in this cold Michigan weather, but to also bring us a little calm when needed. Simple things, guys. It’s the simple things.

Self-love is admittedly one of the toughest things for most people to do, but is one of the most important. But you don’t have to stand on your bathroom counter to do it. On Thursday, we took a moment to write down our best qualities, so that we could be reminded of how badass-y we are.

*usually*

Giving someone a compliment can feel like an absolute chore when you’re feeling low, but the feeling of making someone’s day can make your own day. Cool shirt? Compliment. Nice face? Compliment. Great work? Compliment. They’re undeniably nice to hear from others, so share some coolness with someone to make them feel even cooler.

Our happiness doesn’t end here, of course. We’ll be rollin’ with it through the year, and we hope it’s inspired others to take on their own happiness challenges! Thanks for following!
