COTI’s CEO, Shahaf Bar-Geffen recently shared an update pointing out some of the latest successes and milestones we have achieved. In case you missed the video, here’s the recap.

COTI Developer Network Launch

Last week, we successfully launched our new Developer Network! This marked the very first time we’ve given developers a front-row seat to the technology we’ve been building. Participants of the COTI Developer Network now have access to our innovative offering for confidential transactions using Garbled Circuits on the blockchain.

The interest in the Developer Network has been promising. After just a week, there are already some interesting statistics including;

Approximately 150 smart contracts were deployed. These contracts covered a range of fields and use cases including NFT’s, ERC20, data management, and many more.
More than 30 projects, companies, and startups have shown interest in COTI V2.
Due to high demand, we had to increase the amount of COTI dispensed by the faucet.
No major bugs were identified, highlighting the robustness of our network to date.
We are updating the SDKs based on community feedback.
Partners like Civic and others are evaluating their design needs with COTI V2.

With this activity after only a week, we expect the interest to continue to grow.

COTI ABC Growth Fund

As a reminder, alongside the Developer Network launch, we introduced the COTI ABC Growth Fund. Created to support Ambassadors, Builders, and Creators, this fund is currently worth around $50M USD. Crypto Town Hall

COTI’s CEO, Shahaf Bar-Geffen recently participated in an engaging discussion at the Crypto Town Hall hosted by Mario Nawfal, Scott Melker, and Ran Neuner. Shahaf’s discussion focused on the performance of garbled circuits compared to other privacy solutions and the differences between anonymity and confidentiality. In terms of audience reach, this Crypto Town Hall was listened to by almost 200,000 listeners!

Consensus 2024

Joshua Maddox, our Chief of Ecosystem and Partnerships, is currently at Consensus 2024 in Austin.

Joshua was also invited to participate in WhoisTracer’s podcast, where he shared insights about himself and the plan with the COTI Builders program. You can listen to it on Tracer’s YouTube channel.

Binance Pay

Binance Pay launched a dedicated page for COTI payments. This feature streamlines the acceptance of $COTI for businesses, enabling them to access the 30 million Binance Pay users with zero gas fees. Thank you, Binance!

What’s Up Next?

Our next major milestone is the Testnet launch, scheduled for Q3. The team is constantly making improvements such as updating the SDK’s according to developers’ feedback, and as always, we will keep you updated on the progress.

In the next few months, COTI’s team is planned to attend many more events such as EthCC, Token2049, live AMA’s and X Spaces, and more.

In similar news, we’re excited to share that we are planning to launch a monthly Space where we will introduce interesting guests and speakers, including COTI’s partners, and keep everyone updated on what’s happening at COTI.
