Does life really get better after 60? Sure, we’ve got some aches and pains, and the finish line comes into sharper focus each year, but we have less pressure to perform and if we can find some inner peace, we enjoy much more of life.

This week, several Crow’s Feet writers are talking about the discovery that life can actually get better as we age. Read Our Stories below to share in their insights.

We also have a new writing prompt this week from Robin James. She’s asking about music, which tunes rattle around in your head, and what memories they inspire. Read the full writing prompt here.

And as Memorial Day approaches, we have a special Crow’s Feet podcast episode hosted by Lee J. Bentch that pays tribute to the men and women who have fought and died for our country. It features an interview with Barbara Kautz, an army nurse in Vietnam who has written about her experiences. Listen to the episode here.

If you have a story about your father that you’d like to share for a special podcast episode on Father’s Day, please call our Listener Line at (800) 222–2216 and read your story into the phone. You can also record a message on your phone and send the audio file to us via email at crowsfeetpodcast@yahoo.com.
