As an advisor to CyberMiles and one of the creators of the Krypital Group, Andrew Le decided to step forward — and up — his engagement in our project. Last fall, before our ICO was even initiated, Le had expressed his enthusiasm for CyberMiles, more importantly his shared vision of a better e-commerce. Since then, he has been assisting us in realizing this objective by representing CyberMiles in Vietnam, as a CMT investor and now, as a Supernode candidate for our blockchain via Daocities, his newest platform.

What is Daocities? It’s a smart social platform that connects consumers with local businesses through blockchain. So what makes it so unique?

Today, the incentives for both consumers and businesses, used by apps such as Foursquare, Meituan Dianping, and Yelp, tend to be too similar to appreciate their unique selling points. Through dedicated ad spots and coupons, consumers can enjoy discounts or special offers that businesses promote, and the platform rewards both with loyalty points that then can be exchanged for new services.

However, points — and coupons — often are wasted or forgotten because of their low value, and we understand why. From the local businesses’ perspective, the investment put into these promotions need to be balanced by providing a *semblance* of good deals that, ultimately, do not prove as appetizing to the potential customers.

Daocities wants to shake up this system by allowing businesses to pay only when their promotions are redeemed. It’s similar to the concept of airdrops in the crypto world, where you’re rewarded with new tokens for certain actions. This allows local businesses to deploy incentivizing airdrops through real-time geospatial mapping system, as described on Daocities’ website. With much more margin to play with the promotions, Daocities believes that businesses will create more attractive coupons.

Even more importantly for CyberMiles, Daocities will rely on our blockchain to create these coupons, using the CRC token standard — the equivalent of ERC20.
