CyberMiles MainNet — Online Conference Recap

Nearly a year after concluding our ICO, CyberMiles has reached a milestone with the release of our very own native blockchain. We hosted a livestream on Oct. 18 to recap and outline the next set of project milestones. Watch a replay of the full conference here and read the highlights here.

Mark Brinkerhoff, CyberMiles’ VP Communications, with CEO Dr. Lucas Lu and Chief Scientist Dr. Michael Yuan during the livestream’s Q&A

Before the release of our MainNet, we asked you, the CyberMiles communities around the world, to ask us anything. Read the top 20+ questions along with answers from Dr. Lucas Lu and Dr. Michael Yuan, our CEO and Chief Scientist, in CyberMiles’ MainNet Q&A.

CyberMiles’ blockchain already has broken record since our MainNet release! It took only nine days for the Binance exchange to finish a MainNet migration. Note: It costs only 1 CMT to withdraw on Binance and just a few seconds to finish a transaction.

CMT Wallet 2.0 Release

The 2.0 version of our CMT Wallet, a digital asset wallet developed of course by the CyberMiles Foundation, is now available to download via the App Store and Google Play.

Among the enhancements within 2.0, we have optimized our wallet for greater stability while also fixing a few minor errors. A notable new feature: the ability to create your own token at your fingertips! No more coding or testing is needed as your token gets created using CyberMiles’ infrastructure.

A test from Dr. Lucas Lu of ‘LUCAS,’ a new CRC-20 token. The ‘MAG’ token, named after Maggie Guan, CyberMiles’ General Counsel, has been created easily, too. Dr. Lu said that a LUCAS token can be exchanged for a lunch with him, while a MAG token can be exchanged for a 10 min. consultation time with Maggie. Anyone?

The CMT Wallet’s private key import function is set to be released on Nov. 15. This will allow you to migrate your ERC20 CMT stored in third-party wallets (like MyEtherWallet or Ledger) in order to get the new, native CMT. Feel free to read the full update on our Medium: Releasing the CMT Wallet 2.0 and developer tools to create ‘DApps’.

CMT Cube Update

You now can stake, vote and mine CMT with the CMT Cube! Simply update your CMT Cube by going to SettingsSystem Update.

For those of you who already have started to mine with the CMT Cube (or if you’re just curious), you can read about how the reward system functions on the blockchain in our white paper: The CyberMiles DPoS Protocol.

Noomi Wallet Supports CMT

Noomi Wallet, one of CyberMiles’ Supernode candidates, on Oct. 15 released its new digital wallet. Since then Noomi announced that it’ll pay the gas fees when users are sending CyberMiles Tokens (CMT) outside its network, among other CMT-related offerings to come. Visit noomiwallet.com or download the free app via the App Store and Google Play.
