$DEFY Launched
We are thrilled that we have successfully launched our token and $DEFY is now live. This is an important step that allows us to move to the next stage in building our game and community.
We are on a mission to build the best web3 game possible and having our token live is a critical part of enabling the full game mechanics for our users.

We have recently published a separate article that goes into $DEFY’s tokenomics This includes expanding on the token’s utility, the breakdown of total supply and initial circulating supply, as well as being transparent with the different contracts present for the token and transfers made pre-IDO/IEO.

$DEFY is now officially listed on both CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko! Here are the respective links:

Accessing $DEFY within Genesis Masks
$DEFY Tokens attached to Genesis Masks (and Phantom Galaxies x DEFY Masks) is available for unlock as of 15 August 2022. In order to unlock the token you need to have pledged at least 1 FCOIN in-game since the launch of alpha on 14 April 2022.
If you are a new user who have just purchased or are looking to purchase a mask off OpenSea, do note you can see the number of tokens attached to each mask by following these steps:

Step 2: Scroll down to №15/16 “getTotalBondedTokensForMask”
Step 3: Type in the mask number under ‘tokenId (uint 256)’ and click ‘query’.
The value that comes out is the number of $DEFY tokens attached to the mask.
If you have purchased a mask with tokens attached and are new to the DEFY game, read the following article for a guide to downloading, installing and navigating through gameplay to pledge FCOIN and unlock the attached tokens.
If you have already pledged once and are eligible, the tokens would have been airdropped to the wallet address connected to the DEFY app.
To view your tokens on MetaMask you need to import the $DEFY token by adding the token contract as follows:

Developments Ahead
Here is an overview of the exciting developments coming in the near future:
A lot of our recent developments are scheduled to go live alongside our upcoming Alpha Mission 5. We will also be sharing a sneak peek into some of our further developments that are currently ongoing and scheduled for released around Q4, including XR gameplay.
Final Alpha Mission
Alpha Mission 5 is set to commence on 23 August 2022 and will be run across five phases, each lasting a week. $DEFY rewards have been significantly boosted, and will continue to increase further with every passing week, to celebrate coming towards the end of our alpha phase.
We will also be introducing several new in-game items to fight drones, implement the Battery Health mechanic, and update the overall user interface of the app.
