Design Fiction Works is a small research group seeking to conduct research on and through design fiction. We work on fictional ethnographies and storytelling to generate diegetic prototypes. We are currently working on two tangents within design fiction: Designing the connected products by giving equal importance to both users and things with non-anthropocentric design fiction scenarios, and using narrative theory and fictional data to enhance design scenarios used in design education for lesser known futures. Our work is kindly supported and guided by our advisor Prof. Dr. Gülay Hasdogan from METU.
