We are a mainly Berlin-based indie documentary film initiative that is in the process of being formally constituted. This is where we intend to blog and engage with like-minded filmmakers and viewers. Over the course of 2019 in many brainstorming sessions the idea for this hub evolved among a group of us. We intend to focus on socio-poltical issues often ignored by the mainstream media. We certainly hope to be a portal for compelling cinematic stories, despite the fact that we often produce our films on shoe-string budgets. Here we intend to blog bilingually (German and English) and introduce the films on our portal. Each month new films get added. We also give you a glimpse of the filmmakers and the issues behind those documentaries. The German blog will not be translated one to one, but those threads will be taken up in the English blogs.
