POV: In “I Heard A Fly Buzz…” by Emily Dickinson, the first person point of view that this piece is written in is being used when describing how she felt and what she heard/saw. Voice is working in this by giving the audience a calm but uneasy tone and feeling of uncertainty in the waiting for the fly to come by.
