Thanks for joining us for #SisterCitySunday

As our #SisterCitySunday series comes to a close, all of us at Sister Cities International and the Delegation of the European Union to the United States would like to thank you for joining us for the past seven months to read about some of the most prosperous and historic EU-U.S. Sister Cities partnerships from all 28 European Union Member States.

We hope you learned a lot about each of the cities and some of their programs but, most of all, we hope you learned about the important role that people-to-people relationships can play in global peace-building. Whether the connections between cities were based on business, cultural, humanitarian, municipal, or educational partnerships, the great impact of subnational diplomacy and exchange on each community was clear and continues to remain essential to EU-U.S. relations.

And, if you haven’t already, follow @EUintheUS and @SisterCitiesInt on Twitter and Instagram, and EUintheUS and SisterCitiesInternational on Facebook. We love to hear about your partnership stories and EU-U.S. experiences.

Thanks for reading!
