2022 begins the start of an exciting year for the Freeos project, its team, and its community—even after the very eventful 2021.
We’re barely begun the year, and already there’s a number of events, announcements, and—most importantly—preparations for the Freeos AirClaim launch well underway.
Let’s start with one of the events that just happened this week—which happens to be the inspiration for the title of this article.
- Freeos is part of “Wave 1” of the Helios Rising Incubator Light Program. We are very honoured to be accepted as part of this, and to represent a project from the Proton blockchain. The program has already begun, and we have already gained enormous value from the very talented Gavriel Shaw who brings his vast experience and wisdom to prep EOSIO projects to be battle-tested and ready for further investment and growth.
- The launch of an Open Alpha of our NFT Auction system that tests a number of technologies under the hood, especially related to the Dfinity Internet Computer—which hosts this Proton + Internet Computer dApp combination.
- The completion of Milestone #1 of our Dfinity Foundation Grant.
- Successful submission of the FreeDAO Foundation documentation—the final step of the Freeos AirClaim launch!
Considering we’re only two weeks into 2022, a lot of exciting developments have been made. We expect many more for the rest of 2022 as the Freeos project gathers momentum and other developments brewing under the surface are realised!
