GoChain 1 Year Mainnet Anniversary
Today is the one year mark for GoChain’s Mainnet which went live weeks ahead of schedule in May 2018
One year ago today, we launched our Mainnet and what a year it has been! In 2018 we persevered through the highs and the lows along with the rest of the crypto community. We emerged untested and stronger than ever and over the past year, we’ve continued to evolve. We’ve brought on seasoned veterans — both on our team and as partners moving forward to build a strong team, community and company that will support continuous growth in the years ahead.
We couldn’t be more excited about how far we’ve come and about the future of GoChain. We thank you for your continued support over the last year. We could not have done it without our GoChain community.

Our Year in Review
We introuduced the world to GoChain with our testnet in March promising 1300tps, and launched our public sale in May of 2018. Of course the entire team was elated to sell out within a minute and we took all of the excitement of a successful sale and dove headfirst into development a product and focused on the launch of our Mainnet.
“When Mainnet”
With the token sale over the team was focused on building the best product possible. Mainnet was slated to go live at the end of May, supporting 1,300 transactions per second. In the world of ICOs it isn’t uncommon for companies to not deliver on their promises so we really wanted to make good on our word and we did just that by announcing that our Mainnet was live on May 15 2018, weeks before the promsied date. We truly believe in underpromising and over delivering as we have continued to do since.
What’s To Come
The anniversary of our Mainnet launch is a reminder for our team to continue making good on our promises to you and focus on our updated roadmap which highlights our plans to release an identity framework and stablecoin, payment solutions and data storage. Additionally we plan to get a significant performance upgrade in 2019. Our team is constantly hard at work creating the fastest, most reliable web3 blockchain out there.
