Gold Fever — The Game

We are building virtual worlds and exploring investment opportunities that were considered mere amusements and recreational activities. The Commercial NFTs are such assets that prove to be not only useful in blockchain gaming, but also yield generators.

After digital artwork, one of the most popular types of NFT is undoubtedly collectibles.

Given the digital scarcity and rarity enabled by blockchain technology, collectible NTFs have naturally become some of the most sought-after.

Adding to the digital artwork and collectible NFTs, we have created The Commercial NFTs or in-game businesses, a new concept built with the help of gaming, utility and decentralized ownership.

What is a Commercial NFT

Commercial NFTs are in game businesses. They provide items and services for game players.

You own them along with the revenue they generate. You have a part of the economy and you have a part of the game.

Commercial NFTs in Gold Fever are:

Mining claims — The license for paid mining claims can be bought and used for a limited time. Players can apply to participate in the Mining Claim, mine gold, and share the profit with the license owner.

Gold Tools

Buildings & Blueprints — airfield, bar, blacksmith, butcher shop, carpentry, docks, hotels, kennels, farmers market, survival market, donkey stables, horse stables, instruments workshop, tailoring workshop, tool workshop, weapon workshop

Lands — a piece of land you will fully own along with a large number of options to dictate, can also be bought and sold or traded as you wish.

Transportation — boats, planes, carriages and carts

Companions — donkeys and horses.

How can you tell you own a commercial NFT

We created The Commercial NFTs while adding the extra layer of decentralization — full ownership given to the player not only in terms of in-game assets, but also in terms of contribution to the economy.

✅ In short, a commercial NFT helps you become a dynamic part of the game economy and influence it with your decisions.

✅ If you own a commercial NFT you turn into an entrepreneur. If you think of it as if it were a real business and invest time and energy in developing it, it could generate you a larger active income. Thanks to an open economy based on the needs of players, you can work smart: either employ people that will help you increase your revenues or just set some fixed prices and let your NFTs, like buildings or planes, produce.

✅ It is connected to the gameplay — meaning the more popular the game, the more your NFT is able to produce ITEMS and SERVICES for the players.

✅ It can generate passive income by default, with an initial set-up.

In game NFTs: Commercial NFTs & Collectible NFTs

Commercial NFTs are in-game NFTs just like the collectible NFTs.

✅ Collectible NFTs are actually a very static concept, while commercial NFT is dynamic.

It empowers the owner with economical power — it gives him the capacity to take decisions that structurally influence the direction of the game economy.

Collectible NFTs

Collectible NFTs are a way to generate an income through playing NFT games. Rather than earning a fungible ERC-20 token like SLP in Axie Infinity or SKILLS in CryptoBlades, you earn NFTs that represent collectible items.

This gameplay mechanism is the traditional way of generating income with NFT games.

Items will vary in their worth based on their cosmetics, rarity, or utility based in the game. CryptoKitties is one example of a game that relies only on the collectibility of in-game NFTs. There is no way to keep playing and earn a steady income without the element of chance. Most newer NFT games offer a mixture of both play-to-earn and in-game NFTs. A collectible NFT in Gold Fever is the mask NFT.

Commercial NFTs

Commercial NFTs are in-game assets with next-level utility. Their creation was possible because of a refined way of rethinking the gameplay and the fully decentralized ownership. This gameplay mechanism is another modern way of generating income with NFT games, different from the classical collectible gaming NFT.

Should they exist in real life — and they do, Commercial NFTs are what you would call an asset that allows you to develop an entire business. Imagine owning a hotel or a butcher shop. The Commercial NFT is what happens when you decide to “go into the business of hotels or butchery” and use the offer and the demand of the market to your advantage.

A Commercial NFT allows you to create real value for the game’s economy, the way you would create value in real life should you be a business owner. The commercial NFT becomes the beating heart of the game, while the economy is influenced by the supply and demand that should develop organically.

Characteristics of Commercial NFTs:

✅ Are not collectibles and they are not in-game items that traditionally amplify a certain skill.

✅ They are part of the infrastructure of the game and they produce items or/and services.

✅ If the in-game NFT is a piece of clothing making you look good, the commercial NFT is the fashion house that produces it.

✅ They produce items and services by default.

✅ If you choose to invest more of your time, they can turn into real gold mines. This depends on the offer-demand of the game, so on the number of characters and the action.

✅ Every commercial NFT lists job orders — called work orders. EG: Once a building is running low on materials it can place a work order. This broadcasts a quest for nearby players that the building is open to buying specific raw materials or components in order to continue production..

How do you make money with collectible NFTs?

There are a few ways to make money with in-game NFTs. Here are a few examples:

Buy and hold: You can purchase in-game NFTs and hold onto them, hoping that their value will appreciate over time. Some in-game NFTs have sold for very high prices in the past, so there is potential for significant returns.

Collect and trade: Similar to trading baseball cards or other collectibles, you can collect in-game NFTs and trade them with other players for profit.

Use them in-game: Some in-game NFTs have special powers or abilities that can be used within the game. You can use these NFTs to your advantage and potentially win more valuable items or virtual currency, which you could then sell for real money.

Sell them on the open market: There are a number of online marketplaces where you can list your in-game NFTs for sale. You can set the price and let interested buyers make offers.

How do you make money with commercial NFTs?

Commercial NFTs are businesses.

✅ They exist in the game and the players need the items and the services they produce.

✅ They produce a fixed number of items and services daily that could be increased by hiring other players to do tasks such as bring wood, hunt, transportation from building to building or special quests.

✅ YOU, as a business owner, YOU set the price and you decide what service your building offers, you decide the prices or the items your building is selling.

This is how you can make money with a commercial NFT:

Use them passively: commercial NFTs produce by default items and services. You can sell the default to players and make a passive income.

Use them actively: commercial NFTs work at their best when you are investing time and resources to customize what they produce depending on the gameplay. You decide the price, the volume, the frequency of the items and the services.

EG: you decide the price, but for the sake of simplicity let’s consider 1USD price per item/service.

If you sell 5 different items per day at 1USD/item with a minimal default stock of 5 pieces from each and 30 people need your services — parking, hotel sleeping, sharpening, repairing etc and you charge 1USD/service.

This means an income of:

  • 25USD/day — 750USD/month from items;
  • 30USD/day — 900USD/month if one person needs only one service
  • 55USD/day — 1650USD/month in total

Yet, No winter lasts forever, no spring skips its turn.
