Wayfinder Voyages and Treasure Vaults

A brand new voyage for the Gold Hoarder Trading Company tasks players with discovering the Hoarders’ hidden Vault Keys!

Use an enchanted compass called a Golden Wayfinder to discover torn pieces of a treasure Map, and use the Map to locate the Vault Key! You can sell the key to the Gold Hoarders for a handsome sum… or you can use it on one of their vaults to discover more treasure inside in a thrilling race against the clock.

There’s a lot to learn about these new voyages, so check out our complete Guide to Wayfinder Voyages and Treasure Vaults for all of the details!

Event Hub Update

Vaults of the Ancients brings with it it’s own rotation of Events — be sure to check the Events Hub page on the Official Website to get full details

With Reapers vs Hoarders, every Friday Gold Hoarders are paying double for loot- but Reaper’s Bones are paying extra for Gold Hoarder Emissary Flags, and the multiplier on those will increase every Friday…

Gold Rush is also back, for an hour between 18:00–19:00 BST/18:00–19:00 PDT earn a 1.5x multiplier on all loot handed in

The Summer of Sea of Thieves Event is still running until the 30th of September so make sure you’ve got all those tasks completed for the special rewards! Not sure what you need to do? We’ve got you covered with our Guide to the Summer of Sea of Thieves Event

Smoother Sailing

  • Slim-line Island Banners: There is now a toggle for Island banners both in Adventure and Arena- this allows players to choose whether to display them as they currently are, display them in a ‘slimline’ form (that doesn’t obscure the health bar or ammo count), or to not have them appear at all
  • The Single Stick Play accessibility option has received further attention and fine-tuning
  • Emissary Ledger Update- Players representing a company as an Emissary will now see their value in the Ledger and the increase as they hand in items
