Our roadmap to building gamified savings

Validating our concept

Following our launch announcement, we have to come clean - we launched as a validation exercise. This means that users could sign up, but were not able to play or interact with our smart contracts.

Why? Building products that people want is important to us. We took this approach straight out of the lean startup play book. We wanted to avoid building complex solutions without first gathering user feedback, as sadly often seen in blockchain projects. Pleased to say we had many signups, so we are pushing ahead with our development. To keep our community updated we have launched our roadmap for the rest of the year👇.

Where next?

We have been busy building, and are pleased to open-sourced our smart contracts today 🎉. Head over to our github to check them out for yourself. Feedback is always welcome. Dive in our discord channel to chat to the team.

UX Testing on Kovan

We build from a user centric approach. In this vein we will be launching a user testing bounty on Kovan. We will be rewarding our users DAI to take place in a shortened game. Participation is limited, so jump in to our discord to be the first in the know. We are keen to gather feedback on how to build the best product for our end users.

Gitcoin Grants

We have already secured a development grant from Aave, but to help us push things forward, we are taking part in Gitcoin’s 7th grants round, starting on the 14th of Sept. Since all donations are matched, even 1 DAI can go a long way. This will enable us to keep building an engaging dApp that blends gamification and DeFi 🙏 .

MVP Launch

So this is the big one — when our contracts are live on mainnet for you to interact with for real. As any DeFi’er will know, gas fees have been insanely high. This means we need to offer a gas minimised solution to make regular payments viable. We are currently looking at a number of solutions, ranging from xDAI deposits to GasTokens. If you have any suggestions, please ping us on Discord. Once we have build this, we will launch our MVP to the world.
