Post It Note People
Recognizing who they are positively impacts your self-worth and increases the trajectory that ultimately spikes your net worth.
Brené Brown writes about people she calls the ‘Square Squad’ in her book “Dare To Lead.” For class purposes, it makes more sense to think of them as our “Post-It Note People.”
These folks are bound to us by either blood, sweat, or tears. You may be found by all three. The point is that these folks are rare birds. They fly in when you need them most to lead you to a spot where the sun shines.
“Post-It Note People” can be counted on when the chips are down. They ensure that you don’t crap out in the casino by sitting next to you at the table.
Brown writes that you can fit all the names of the people that you can truly count on a one-inch by one-inch notecard. However, most people can only fill 25% of the card with names.
Hence, the names of the people you can genuinely count on will fit on something the size of a Post-it note.
