The empowering break-up track is an anthem for grieving, revenge, and moving on.

“I could burn your things but that’s just way too easy/ So imma tell your momma that you cheated on me/ and you won’t be invited to my birthday party”

It’s the kind of lyric that makes you hit rewind just to make sure you heard it right. The kind of revenge you’d expect from someone like Lizzo. But on 100 Thousand, Navvy finds the single, empowered badass in all of us.

The lyrics come as even more of a surprise as the track opens in the early stages post-breakup. Navvy dwells on a relationship that ended messily and ponders whether she can die from heartbreak — but all of a sudden we’re slapped in the face with some of the best revenge lyrics we’ve ever heard. And then just as quickly we’re past that, moving on to the 100 Thousand other perfect matches that are out there.

PREMIERE: Navvy — ‘Running In My Sleep’
Navvy knows how we all feel missing ‘Somebody ~ Like You’

Following the success of her debut release Subliminal (which has racked up over 230,000 plays on Spotify), 100 Thousand shows a consistency from Navvy that has us incredibly excited for her upcoming EP.
