The Jehovah’s Witnesses
I took a stab at poetry. Written today on the train ride home.
Dressed to go to work
But they don’t go.
They stand in the heat and hurry
Of the rank and file.
Their pamphlets
Their workplace
Their elevator pitch
Say:
“We’re the crazy ones!”
Yet their smiling…
