As the last week of June comes to a close, we are excited to share the progress of our Hydro team. Thanks to all of you for your support as we continue to grow!
Product & Development
DDEX, the first Hydro Protocol based 0x Relayer, launched several platform upgrades last week:
- DDEX is now available on imToken 2.0 browser. https://medium.com/ddex/ddex-on-mobile-imtoken-f318dcbf2003
- Additional clarity added to the verification message shown in Metamask
- Landing page now recommends several dapp browsers for users interested in mobile trading
- Balance section modified for additional clarity: will now show both ETH and WETH balances.
- Consistency improved for terminology for WETH and ETH throughout the site (ex — Total and Fee’s are now displayed appropriately in WETH)
Moving onto a weekly analysis of trading volume, specifically for 0x relayers:
In the past week on DDEX, we have seen increases in the following user-based statistics:
- Total number of logged in accounts: +1.38%
- Approve/WRAP/Unwrap transactions: +2.98%
- Buy/Sell transactions: +9.31%
- Accounts with 1st transaction: +2.07%
- Accounts with 1st Wrap ETH: +1.93%

New Partnership
DDEX on Mobile | imToken
DDEX is integrated into the imToken DApp browser for simple and safe cryptocurrency trading.
You will now be able to access DDEX from your imToken DApp browser. Simply download imToken from your favorite app store, open or import your wallet, and navigate to DDEX under the DApps section.

Seoul | Blockchain Open Forum-June 28–29,2018
2018 Blockchain Open Forum (BOF) focuses on the future of blockchain businesses — BOF has a panel specifically for decentralized exchanges as they are envisioned as the future of the exchange ecosystem.
Bowen Wang, co-founder of Hydro Protocol, was invited by Blockchain Open Forum (BOF) as a speaker. Bowen participated in the panel of “The Future of Exchanges” along with the representatives of Spartan Group, Cobinhood, OpenFinance, BestRate, EverCoin, and Chaince.

Interview with №1 Korean Blockchain Media TokenPost
Bowen Wang, co-founder of Hydro Protocol, accepted an interview with TokenPost on the Blockchain Open Forum. TokenPost is the №1 Blockchain media in Korea with over 350k monthly readership. It is a leading provider of news and analysis on trends, technologies, and companies in the blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency market. The video interview will release in July.

Meet with №1 Korean Crypto Fund Hashed
Hashed is the largest crypto assets fund, blockchain project accelerator and community builder/educator based out in Seoul, Korea. Currently, the leading South Korean crypto assets fund has its largest holdings in blockchain projects such as EOS, ICON, and ONT. Listed on their website, a total of 52 blockchain projects make up the Hashed portfolio, including other renowned coins like OmiseGO and Ethereum.
In the meeting, the Hashed team expressed optimism for the development of Hydro Protocol and DDEX in global blockchain market, especially the Korean market.

TechCrunch is a leading technology media, dedicated to obsessively profiling startups, reviewing new Internet products, and breaking tech news.
It has been four years since TechCrunch.cn and the TechCrunch China Summit landed in China. Speakers include the world’s most famous entrepreneurs, venture investor like Alphabet/Google CEO Mr. Eric Schmidt, Xiaoping Xu, Kaifu Li, Yossi Vardi, Davide Cole, and Huateng Ma, CEO of Tencent.
At the Blockchain Session in this TechCrunch event, Hydro co-founder Bowen Wang was invited to attend the panel of “Can EOS replace Ethereum? ”along with the representatives of Meet.one, EOS Cannon, and Ethfans.org. Each session has attracted 200+ startups, 170+ media around the world.
