Per-capita GDP of Indian states

After looking at the per-capita GDP of Chinese states in this article, I was interested to see how Indian states fared. It was slightly disappointing to see that India’s per capita GDP is that of the poorest Chinese state, so the picture that evolves isn’t quite surprising.


Population in India

Again, inspired by the article on Chinese population, here is a map of Indian states, labelled by the countries closest to their population. This is not a population density map, it compares the total population of every state to a country’s population.
