Thing 19 : Altmetrics

I have been familiarizing myself with the metrics for measuring the quality of research publications. I am somewhat familiar with citation metrics and journal impact factors. These two are the guidelines of good publications metrics, based on what I am reading.

Thing 21 : Online Games & Learning Tools

I am familiar with games wether online or offline. Many of my fun times are playing games and sometimes making games. In my opinion games are potent tool for learning but we also need to becareful with it.

I have been reading about snapchat in the media, but haven’t really tried it yet. In this occasion I tried to install it and try the features.

I took some photos with my wife, we put some cartoon overlays on top of our face. It was fun and we had a good laugh.

I have been using LinkedIn for a few years. I record my professional skills in this social media. But I still haven’t used the platform extensively.
