The Open Society Program on Independent Journalism supports creative, talented, and open-minded groups, networks or media organizations producing verifiable, trustworthy information on any platform, especially in the places where such content is not only scarce but also difficult to produce. Local and international organizations, media outlets, networks, and informal groups involved in the production of journalism under difficult circumstances, investigative reporting, or defending freedom of expression and the protection of journalists are welcome to apply for support.
