The next 6 months for IOEN

What’s next for IOEN:

As you may have seen, we just released our macro roadmap for the next phases of IOEN’s technological development. You can catch that full article here, and we’ll be doing further spotlights on each phase over the coming weeks.

But you may be asking yourself, what’s next for IOEN immediately in the short term?

This article will break down our next 6 months and give you an outline of where we are going immediately.

IDO

We were very encouraged by our successful IDO launch on the launchpads TrustSwap and TrustPad. Since then our community has grown to over 31,000 members in our Telegram channel, and over 45,000 followers on Twitter.

Following the IDO, we immediately launched our staking program, enabling token holders to earn high APY% and access exclusive IOEN benefits over the coming months. Many of these are captured in our 6-month roadmap.

Upcoming

The immediate next milestone on the horizon is the release of our IOEN-DEX, a decentralized exchange that enables token holders to buy and sell IOEN directly through the IOEN website. This will help reduce friction and make it easier for newcomers to get involved.

After this, we will begin the campaign of expanding the IOEN team globally. It’s taken a massive effort from our team so far to get us to this point, and it will be a global team that takes it to the next level.

Quarter One

Community Battery Deployment

IOEN integration company RedGrid will be launching its Neighbourhood Battery Initiative, this will include the first deployment of IOEN’s mutual credit infrastructure in a community battery.

IOEN NFT Launch

We are currently developing our first set of IOEN NFTs. These will be released around key announcements that we have coming up as a way to commemorate major milestones for IOEN.

Initial DeFi Services

IOEN will commence developing the framework for the DeFi services that will be accessible within virtual microgrids.

IOEN Mutual Credit Currency Alpha

IOEN’s mutual credit currency has already been prototyped through many projects with RedGrid. This milestone will mark the point of reaching the Alpha stage of the mutual credit mechanism.

Quarter Two

sIOEN fully vested and converted to IOEN tokens

At the end of quarter one, the sIOEN tokens will fully vest through the IOEN staking website. At this point, all staked tokens will be able to convert immediately to IOEN tokens, which can be traded on public exchanges.

Early IoT Microgrid Integrations

We will begin integrating IOEN into Microgrid IoT devices, demonstrating the first IOEN integrations that will later help facilitate grid services.

Launch 100 Grids Campaign

To conclude quarter two, IOEN will launch the 100 grids campaign. This will mark the commencement of IOEN’s integration into Microgrids globally.
