The 7th IRISnet Validator Brief | meleatrust & HashQuark

To help the community members learn more about the validators on IRISnet, we are publishing a series of articles, each of which will cover two validators.

When choosing a validator to delegate, technical parameters such as self-bonded (the higher the better), uptime (the higher the better), commission rate (the lower the better), bond height(the lower the better)etc are good KPIs to review to get a 360-degree view on the validators’ performance. It is always a good practice to select multiple validators to hedge the delegation risk.

Following information can be found on IRISnet explorers including IRISplorer, IRISnet-Overview, Big-Dipper, IRISnet-P2P, Hubble.

These are the data on June 6.

Here come the stories on meleatrust & HashQuark.

Meleatrust

WHO Are We?

At meleatrust blockchain solutions , we care about the environment and our work is focused on not letting a negative impact on the planet.

Our servers are currently distributed around the world and not in a single location. None of our servers are in Google cloud or Amazon. Each server is independent for each application with which we work.

We offer service 24 hours * 365 days a year.

We have emergency contingency plans in case of a server presenting connectivity problems or any other type of intervention necessary to offer 100% online service 24×7.

Every day we care about security at all levels that our business encompasses and we work on updating, changing or implementing any current security measures necessary for one more efficient and secure work.

For the security of your investment we have servers with DDoS protection, and hardware and software tools to guarantee never double sign and be available 24×7, we have experience in PoS for more than two years and our servers are 100% available and never signed double in all our trajectory. More security measures will be implemented when necessary.

Currently, the company is in the process of growth and development, we do not have or request external financing, thanks to the support of our delegators which helps to decentralize our services and allows us to grow at the speed we want. Special thanks to all they.

We want to build applications that today are just ideas and we think they will have a real use in the population and will be useful for users when being a reality.

We are exploring the technologies in which we are currently working, looking for the ideal indicated for the development of them and their presentation to the general public. If any or all of the applications that we think about developing have a related token and arrive in the real world; we will airdrop these tokens on our delegators in gratitude for having supported any of our nodes. * The conditions for these plans on airdrops will be published at the time.

The type of architecture that we apply in the nodes/servers is explained in broad strokes in each section for each corresponding application.

We are currently proud to validate blocks in the next’s Blockchains:

meleatrust Cosmos Validator

meleatrust Iris Validator #1 1

meleatrust Iris Validator #11 1

meleatrust Iris Validator #111 1

meleatrust Peerplays Witness

meleatrust Polkadot Validator (Testnet)

If you wish to delegate and are clear about what it means to invest in blockchain technology in the long term, Welcome to contact us through our channels by telegram/riot/twitter/telephone or e-mail, and ask for help.

Why Choose Us?

Actually we are compounding all the rewards an all the IRIS Validators, and planing compounding for more than a year. To skin in the game, and in case of penalization by double signature or disconnected time, we will reimburse you for what you would have lost if the ticket is from our servers or setup.

Currently, we are proud to participate in the first IRISnet testnet Fuxi and Betanet, aka mainnet IRIS Hub.

We believe and we want decentralization to be important. That is why we write guides so that anyone with access can be a user of IRIS or test its operation. See the uptime and missed blocks for each validator. We are in the top 10! 100% up and less missed blocks.

Please consider to delegate to more validators you can and trust, for a decentralized network.

Just because we care about the decentralization and security of the network, we decided to divide our voting power into 3 different validators, instead of just one validator. Each validator works in a different server and/or country data center, helping to decentralize IRISnet worldwide. No server is more or less important than another, they have the same hardware and configuration and certified data center security.

The servers are located in different countries for a decentralized network:

Canada, France, Germany, and Spain.

Nodes are protected from DDoS and other network attacks or hackers.

The idea of running 3 validator unless only one is because we are a stronger believer that the decentralization of the voting power is important for long term life.

The architecture of the nodes in general terms:

Part A

Part B

We are studying and test the used of YUBI-HSM + Ledger to validate blocks and protect the validators’ key. We want to be secured and trusted.

The info in the service is anonymous, we don’t archive or save info about the delegators address or any other data.

In the next days, we are planning to open a telegram group for our delegators, and they can participate in pools and more if they wish.

The idea of the Meleatrust validator is to run a trusted service for our delegators and grow in harmony with the rest of validators in the IRISnet collaborating in all we can for help to grow IRISnet around the world. Not causing any bad impact in the world and his ecosystem. We want to do a great job and help others and the world if we can do it while being a validator.

We are growing here in meleatrust and the updates when happens are planning to be published here.

In a word,

We are not here just to validate blocks.

We are currently writing manuals and guides in Spanish to reach more countries in the same way that we are interested in growing an IRISnet community here in Barcelona Spain. More info will be advanced at its indicated time.

We are not here just to take a reward, we are here because we care and believe in the project and help people to find out and understand it. The stronger our validator will be, the stronger IRIS will be.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you need it, for the attention of our delegates 24x7x365 days.

HERE We are looking for a Chinese speaking collaborator if you believe that you meet what you need to have contacted.

HashQuark

What is HashQuark

HashQuark, member of HashKey Group, is a new generation staking pool focused on public chains built upon the likes of PoS and DPoS. Staking is made easier in HashQuark. Token holders simply deposit tokens into their accounts and HashQuark will then provide staking services to them in a safe, transparent and efficient way.

What’s Better about HashQuark

Ø On-Chain Governance

HashQuark remains deeply involved in building up a more enabling blockchain ecosystem, where it joined multiple public blockchains including Cosmos, IRISnet, V SYSTEMS, CyberMiles, Cybex, VeChain, IOST, and Tezos.

Ø Secure

HashQuark has been working collaboratively with SlowMist and has worked out a solution to secure IRISnet validator and its smooth deployment. Check it out here:

https://medium.com/@hashquark/thoughts-on-security-best-practices-for-cosmos-irisnet-f9109be7dd5f

Plus, HashQuark has been working collaboratively with PlatON and developed the Key Management Service (KMS) powered by KeyShard.

Ø Contributions to the IRISnet ecosystem

As one of the earliest validator nodes of IRISnet’s Fuxi testnets, HashQuark created a sandbox testing environment where one could build a validation node and start a trial on validating IRIS network.
