Vietnamese coffee

Went to this awesome ice cream sandwich place near downtown Phoenix. Was reluctant to order the Vietnamese Coffee ice cream. I was afraid that bikini-clad waitress was going to serve it to me. I heard that they do that in San Jose. Crazy!

Goodbye for now, Arizona!

A very happy vacation! We loved our trusty, 800-mile rental Beetle & free lodging at Casa De Jinon. Can’t wait until we get to do this again. I wouldn’t mind getting another rental Beetle again (or a rental Tesla Model S, whatever’s more convenient).

Inside Cabela

If you ever come across a Cabela, it’s worth stopping in for a visit, even if you’re not the hunting or fishing type. This huge store in Glendale, Arizona features these awesome taxidermized animals in majestic poses. I thought this mountain lion was going to maul me for sure.
