Seinfeld loved to opine on the remorseful struggles of “Morning Guy”. Always funny. And funnier if it weren’t so true. Trying to tell the joke now to “Middle of the Night Guy” (as we speak) but he can be grumpy at 4 a.m.
Excellent post, Walter, it’s good to know the travails of other writers — and you're in good company — those of us juggling the forces of process and the freedom to create. I find structure and flow are in constant tension. I'm working on switching modes more gracefully - in real time, even.

I have to agree, William. And I bet you’ve seen a fair share of life driving that cab in London all those years— plenty of stories to write about, yes !? People can seem an odd sort, especially when you only get a few minutes with them, with their commentary out of context.
