Some poems weigh differently in my mind… Like black balloons, they are opaque to the sun, and on the surface, appear at odds to their purpose. But they do lift, and in their own way, bring some resolution. For now, at least, I would like to give them, along with the issues that they relate to, a little air. This publication has been split into two parts 'Light & Lust' contain my sensual poems while 'Dark Defilements' contain poems that address issues of abuse, including domestic violence, sexual abuse and child abuse.
