Katie discovered Product Design on a beach in Mexico, while pursuing her bucket-list dream of earning a professional scuba diving certification. Prior to that, she worked as a jet engine test engineer (yes, airplane engines), where she supported her teams in tracking and troubleshooting measured data. Present day, Katie continues to feed her love of complexity by unwrapping the complexities of Wayfair’s supply chain. Her hope is to create meaningful experiences that improve the lives of our employees, partners, and customers, and make a meaningful impact on the environment. Outside of design, she can be found loving her urban life in Boston with her adopted pitbull, in the woods mountain biking, or planning out her next international adventure.
