Launch Studio is an education studio focused on supporting designers, creative studios and startups who make physical products. Our first course, Kickstarter Masterclass, offers step-by-step guidance that empowers creators to successfully launch products using crowdfunding.
When Daniel and I started exploring the idea of creating an online masterclass about how to launch products using crowdfunding, I felt an equal amount of excitement and doubt. I was excited about the potential impact of the idea; and, I was doubtful about whether we would be able to find a way to deliver on that potential.
We both quickly realized that to achieve our ambitious vision — and to make this idea worth pursuing — we needed to build a dream team.
So we spent a couple of weeks compiling a short list of names, and we came to an agreement. If we succeeded in enrolling two to three contributors from our list, then we’d commit to getting the project off the ground.
The first person we talked to agreed to join the team on the spot. That happened again, four times over with the four people at the top of our short list.
The message was overwhelmingly clear. Let’s build this thing.
We owe a lot to our contributors. Their commitment and excitement were the sparks that lit the fuse on this project.
Today we are starting to publish a short series of articles where we will introduce the experts on our team. Each piece, will feature a brief written bio along with a short bio video. In the video you’ll get to hear directly from our contributors about their work and story.
