LGBT+ Groups at the Leicester LGBT Centre
Many LGBT+ people might feel isolated or in need of a safe space where they can be themselves and meet people alike. At the Leicester LGBT Centre, we believe these spaces are needed so LGBT+ people can #ShineBrightInColour. We run a wide range of different groups and host and promote many others.
This month we will be releasing short videos like this one for you to find out more about the groups, and some of the things they do. Here are some:

LGBT Action Plan
The Leicester LGBT Centre attended the LGBT Action Plan launched by the Government. Many issues in regards to the LGBT+ community were discussed and we’re currently reviewing all the information gathered.

Surveys
- Consultation: Reform of the Gender Recognition act 2004
- Questionnaire: Study looking at attitudes towards Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). For participants between the ages of 18–30.
