There are no easy answers in hospitality, no quick fixes or cracks that can be papered over. Our industry provides a guest experience that is an aggregation of hundreds of micro-experiences that, in turn, are the product of someone, somewhere carefully examining the details and coming up with innovative ideas to improve the experience.

Maintaining LG’s position in the market for hospitality televisions in North America is a responsibility we take seriously and it’s also foundational to our broader solutions offering.
When a property elects to partner with LG for hospitality televisions, they can receive efficiencies, economies and assurances in product offerings in other functional areas as well. Digital signage for shared spaces is an obvious consideration. Doing so, the property enjoys having a unified design language for the entire property but also single source for procurement, logistics and support — and economies of scales!
We can then look to other areas of the property where LG can help but that may not be immediately obvious. LG’s solar technology and is helping businesses in North America — including hospitality businesses — reduce their carbon footprint and maintain an enviable sustainability profile. Likewise, in HVAC, where LG’s Air Conditioning Technologies group (more here) is working with a wide array of hospitality businesses from select service to luxury (see The Sinclair profile) to provide advanced air conditioning solutions that meet comfort, sustainability and cleanliness objectives of hospitality businesses and guests.
There are other technology realms within hospitality where LG can support clients including lighting, laundry and there are always new ways that LG’s depth and scale can be brought to bear on the industry’s challenges. Look no further than the UV robot (featured here) that we’re introducing to the North America market this Spring.
This technology was developed in close cooperation with our clients to help achieve new, higher levels of cleanliness in their properties and help provide guests with assurance that they’re getting the best experience possible. Our new UV-C robot is literally rolling out this spring, and its launch would not be possible without the depth and scale of LG’s R&D resources that we rallied in support of getting guests back in our hospitality client’s facilities.
