Fiction & Folx Newsletter

Hello, My Fabulous Friend!

I hope this mini-newsletter finds you happy and healthy.

On a personal note, there has been a lot going on at casa de Zada so far this month.

My father and husband both went in for surgery in the same week — one for open-heart and one for kidney issues. I’m pleased to say they are both recovering well — in big part because I have two amazing sisters.

I hope you all enjoyed St. Valentine’s Day yesterday. My honey and I watched parody movies most of the day. It was fun to simply laugh and relax just the two of us, enjoying each other’s company.

The Latest Issue of Fiction & Folx Newsletter

If you haven’t signed up for the full Fiction & Folx Newsletter, there’s a link at the bottom of this post. This mid-February issue is packed full of interesting stuff:

Dr. Hassouri’s Found in Transition is the first in this series. We gave it…

You can check out our reasons in the latest Fiction & Folx.

  • And of course, we have another horror short you’ll love! It reminds me of Edgar Allen Poe with its meandering story, unreliable narrator, and possible paranoia. It’ll cause you to question what you believe to be your own reality.

Did you know you can have Fiction & Folx sent right to your inbox twice a month to get all the latest from me and LGBTQueer-ies? It includes parenting stuff (advice and mishaps), LGBTQIA culture pieces, and fiction fun — I’m a sucker for a good short story.

For the most recent Fiction & Folx, check it out here.

How can I help you?

And finally, I’d like to ask, is there something you’d like to see in LGBTQueer-ies that hasn’t been covered yet? How can I be more useful to you? Are there questions you want answers to? As part of the LGBTQ+ community, do you have something you’d like to share?

My goal is to have as many articles and resources as possible to help parents and families support and accept their lgbtq+ loved ones.

If there is something specific you’d like to see included in LGBTQueer-ies resources section, don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments below.

Much love to you, my fabulous friend.
