I have a fear of starting things.

It’s really funny to think of the things we remember from when we were little.

Aly and I don’t know 100% what we want to do. We’re just rolling with what’s been presented in front of us and making an attempt.

A hero is someone real that you look up to for guidance. The work they do is solely because of and for you.

To my Dad. My dad is proud of me. He’ll be the first to say this anytime I question this. I always want to prove to my dad … something.

So Derek and I are pretty excited to get this off the ground.

Not just physical, that is important too, but also emotional, mental, and relational. I reflect on my parent’s divorce and why I fear pain.

All throughout growing up, my dad was always drawing something.

I wasn’t a good son. I was disrespectful. I disagreed with a lot of the things my mom and dad said. Saying sorry is hard.

Telling my biggest fear for the first time was hard. The first time I talked about it was with my wife. I wasn’t raised to voice concerns.

My wife and I knew we wanted to do a side project together. We both come from separated families. We’re getting our feet wet. More to come!

Not once did I say that I wanted to be a firefighter, pilot, or a superhero. It all started when I saw a piece of graph paper my Dad had.
