To those
Relentless in their search
The harsh sun gave me no respite,
My days were gone, my nights went out of spite.
Silence lingered, peace blew far from home,
empty spaces filled up my brain, the void was gone.
Dreaming in black and white
of a life in technicolour.
Shots rang in the distance, distance the epitaph of time.
I see things I cannot perceive
You walked on by
alone ,unflinching in your gaze.
You saw the world
prisms, the kaleidoscopic gaze.
Yet you chose a box
Time will tell
you the secret,
to living and dying in between.
And your heart will feel
the presence ,
When you feel light,
but don’t want to fly.
you are content,
with your feet
an inch from the ground.
You pause,
My capacity for oblivion is insatiable,My tortured memory tormentable, and torment is all I can take.
Time tickswhen you wait,sometimes.
