Bi-weekly Updates: Measurable AI Alpha Testing Going Well, New MDT Website Officially Launched

1. Measurable AI Alpha Testing started a month ago, and it has been going well! Now it supports multiple languages including simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and English. Users can sign up and log in to the platform by not only MyMDT, but also third parties account systems, such as their Facebook and Google accounts.
After a few rounds of iterations, the engineering team started to use E-charts, an open source tool from Baidu, to optimize the front-end developing of the platform. They have also begun to work on a data processing system for In-App Purchases statistics, which will considerably accelerate the speed of data entry in the future.
As we promised before, the free-trail version of Measurable AI will be available in the first quarter of 2019. To better serve our target clients and get a full picture of what kinds of consumer insights they are looking for, we will distribute a survey after the product is ready and ask about their business interests and needs. 2. MDT’s redesigned website is officially live now! The newly launched website consists of five sections, including the introduction to our two principal products — consumer-facing product MyMDT, business-facing product Measurable AI, and pages illustrating MDT Token, team bios, the MDT community, and our blog. It is stylish, approachable, and desired to showcase MDT ecosystem in a more explicit, more understandable way. 1.We are thrilled to announce that MDT was named one of the top12 contestants for FORTUNE China Innovation Awards, and invited to attend FORTUNE Global Tech Forum in Guangzhou hosted by FORTUNE magazine on November 29. MDT is the only and the first ever blockchain project that made the cut among hundreds of outstanding applicants and became the finalist of the award.
FORTUNE magazine set up the award in 2017 to recognize emerging companies with the potential to be innovation leaders in the Chinese market and beyond. Only three companies were selected as the finalists for “Fintech and Blockchain” category, and MDT turned to be one of them. As the only blockchain project focused on big data, MDT impressed the judges with a reliable, innovative business model, abundant data sources and large user base, full-fledged data analysis products, and an experienced developing team.
Even though we didn’t win the award, we consider it a great honor to be chosen as one of the finalists. We will definitely keep up the good work. More details about the award here.
2.MDT Co-Founder Heatherm Huang was invited to 2018 TechCrunch International Innovation Summit in Shenzhen last week. MDT Team was the first ever Chinese team to break into San Francisco TechCrunch Startup Battlefield. Our first product, email messenger MailTime debuted at the famous startup competition in 2014. As an exemplary serial entrepreneur who has been running businesses in China and the US, Heatherm shared his experience of building startups in the two different countries. He has also met with many other entrepreneurs exploring the potential of blockchain and discussed the future of the industry with them.
3. Erik Li, a seasoned Product Manager, joins MDT as Senior Product Manager. Erik brings more than a decade of experience in senior positions at some of the world’s leading tech companies. In this role, Erik will be in charge of key projects planning, schedule management, critical issue management of email messenger MailTime and data analysis platform Measurable AI.
