How to create a Store ?
Step 1 — Create Store
This is a quick a tutorial on How to create a store on Merkatsu. Any suggestions leave it on the comment section at the bottom of this post.
- First you need to click on the menu button on the upper right.
- After clicking on the menu button, a menu will slide down. Click on “My Stores” to continue.
- After clicking on “My stores” a new slide down will appear, that will give you the option to check the store you’ve already created or create a new one by clicking “New Store”
In case you are on the main page to complete this step, you just need to click the orange button that says “create store” on the bottom left.
Step 2 — edit store
After completing step 1 something like the picture below should appear on the page.
- Click on “start editing” to setup your store.
On this step you’ll get introduced to the concept of collections. To know more about collections click here.
Step 3 — Name store
After clicking on “start editing” your right menu bar will change into something like the picture below.
This is a form that will allow Merkatsu to setup your store, without the need for you to code ;).
- Insert the name of your store
2. Insert your slogan (optional)
3. Insert the cover image for your store (optional)
After you’ve completed the form click the save button on the upper right part of your screen.
Note: The save button will turn orange, if you have completed the main requirements to continue. If it is still grey, there is something that you still need to fill in.
Step 4 — Login or Register
In case you haven’t login or you are not register, we will ask you to do so, in order for your store to be saved.
Step 5 — You’ve got a store!
After saving, your store is finally created!
You’ll need to submit item(s) to have products on your stores and collections to make the navigation easier and faster for your costumers.
